The "Libearty" Bears sanctuary is NOT a zoo!
The schedule and the prices below are available until May 1st 2017.
The access in the sanctuary with PROFESSIONAL TELEPHOTO LENSES is ONLY allowed in the special tours for professional photographers, or during regular tours, if the visitor pays an extra-tax of 35 euros.
The students DO NOT benefit of the special price after the age of 25!
The sanctuary can be visited as follows:
Summer Program (May 1st to October 31st) - From Tuesday to Sunday, with entries from 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 AM.
ONLY GROUPS LARGER THAN 15 people should make an appointment in advance by contacting us (see below)
Winter program (November 1st to April 30th) - with entries from Tuesday to Sunday at 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00 AM.

The Libearty sanctuary can be visited at 10.00 o’clock ONLY IF there are at least 10 visitors. At 11.00 and 12.00 o’clock the sanctuary can be visited no matter the number of visitors.
In the public holidays during the week, the sanctuary is open! During these days, the price is 50 lei/adult and 15 lei/child.

From Tuesday to Friday:
10 lei/child (5 to 18 years) and student - the student ONLY if they present a relevant student card/document and if they have up to 25 age.
During the weekend:
15 lei/children (5 to 18 years) and students - the students ONLY if they present a relevant student card/document and if they have up to 25 age.
From Tuesday to Friday: 10 lei/attendant, who is a chaperone to 10 children.
During the weekend: 15 lei/attendant, who is a chaparone to 10 children.
Free - IF accompanying teacher gives evidence that the group is currently being accompanied by the teacher (certificate from the school or any official papers) in the limit of one teacher for 10 children. Each additional teacher should pay 10 lei.
The chaperones that are not teachers should pay 10 lei (from Tuesday to Friday) or 15 lei (during the weekend), in the limit of one chaperone to 10 children. Over this number, each chaperone has to buy a ticket for adults.
Take the pressure off your tour, with a small group! The groups that make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance by phone - +40 268 471 202 and +40 722.533.895, from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM, or by e-mail (email@example.com; firstname.lastname@example.org) can chose a private guide, for 150 euros/group + the ticket price.
Tours for professional photographers
The professional photographers' groups may benefit from a dedicated guide for an extra fee of 150 euros/group+35 euros/photographer, at 9.00 or 10.00 AM. Thus, they have the chance to climb the special platform for photographers and take the best pictures in a two hour tour.
The VIP tour starts at 9.00, during the summer program, or 10.00 AM, in the winter. It lasts two hours and a half and includes a visit to the first teddy bear museum in Romania, the bunker from where they the bears may be observed in the middle of their enclosure and a dedicated platform from where the bears can be admired and photographed.
The VIP tour cost includes the private guide fee of 150 euros/group + a tax of 50 euros/person. The train has only 23 seats!
The train tour is available for a minimum of seven adult guests.
From Tuesday to Friday, the train tour is available ONLY for groups that make an appointment at least two days before. On Saturday and Sunday, the train tour is available only for the 10.00 and 11.00 AM tours.
Two chaperones that benefit from free entrance do not have to pay for the train tour - one chaparone for 10 children!

THEN TRAIN IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING THE VERY COLD DAYS AND WITH LOT OF SNOW!
This is not a zoo!
It is the bears’ forest and so please respect that!
Do not throw food to the bears!
Please switch off your mobile as the noise can disturb the bears!
Do not use camera flash as it can frighten the bears.
Do not eat or drink in front of the bears! It is impolite!
Do not leave rubbish on the ground in the forest.
Do not approach the electric fence - it is dangerous!
Stay together, follow the guide and patiently listen our stories!
Do not make any noise!
In that way the bears will know that you are their friends!
